I came, I saw, I partied under disco lights to hits from the 70′s.  A 102 yr old duplex in Oakland, CA played host to 150 fly ass people with the 1st level done up Kalakuta style and the 2nd as Studio 54.  Celebrating my birthday at the 4th May Fly Ball with all the “May Flies” was all that I dreamt it to be, plus more.  Imagine a house party with hipster-fashionista-gogo-yuppie-hippies all dressed up in garb from sequins to ankara, dancing to afrobeat and disco. It was truly an experience of a lifetime and I cant wait till next year. Many thanks to my friends and hosts Nkei, Skye and Emeka for a thrilling weekend and also a MAJOR party.
